Mason and Bracken are both known to make late hires with their basketball coaches. Please correct me if wrong(because probably am,lol) but it seems like Kirk at Maco and King at BC were both late summer hires when they were made.

Kirk was hired mid-May and King was hired in July.

      Summer ball is just that, summer ball.  Half of the teams that has a head coach in place, you will see the head coach let the asst. coach run the team while is bull crapping with someone.

    That was sort of my point about all these coaching vacancies hiring between now and early April, a hire from either one of these schools wasn't made in March and may not happen until mid May or later. You may know this as well, what months were Maco Girls Coach Fite and past BC coaches Hinson and Reed hired? I guess you don't necessarily have to have a coach in place to play or not play summer ball in June.

    Just a thought…..would Mason Co. give Patrick Kelsch a call to see if he’d be interested in switching back to the boys side? 

    Heard at church Austin Sparrow was called. He is remaining at the college level.  looking into bigger opportunities at the college level.
