U.K. players did not quit when it would had been easy for them to on more than one occasion. They played hard all night. I may read al the post in this thread later but I just didn't want to read any of the Tubby bashers if they surfaced again. Tubby Smith plain and simple outcoached Billy D. in this one..............period. Tough, tough loss in a game that we could had knocked doff the #1 team in the country (and they are the #1 team) tonight and pulled to within one game of the SEC lead. That didn't happen so now the Cats just need to get focused and move on to what imo will be very tough strech of the schedule. 4 of the last 6 games are on the road including games at Tenn., Bama and Fla.. Great effort by the Cats. The shots didn't fall, end of story. Also, the Rupp crowd was awesome tonight. If the Cats would have pulled this one out I would have had to nominate the crowd for m.v.p.! February 11, 200719 yr I know were not done yet this year! But I REALLY can't imagine how good Kentucky could be next year! I think next year they will be in the Top 10 or Top 5 for the majority of the year(if they work hard this summer)! I like Tubby but I am pretty sure that he is aware that UK can be so much better when that class graduates.
February 11, 200719 yr Crawford played terrible because he was shut down! He had the reigning SEC defensive player of the year guarding him in Corey Brewer. Brewer is a GREAT defensive stopper! The UK defense played great :thumb: :thumb: I certainly agree here.

February 11, 200719 yr :lol: They are not a team prone to foul trouble, and they made some very stupid fouls that landed starters and reserves on the bench. The Gators didn't shoot well. Just like UK they missed more than a few open looks. If you've watched Florida this year, you know it's not often they play as poorly as they did tonight. UF didn't play well and UK still didn't have a lead all game in front of the biggest and maybe loudest crowd in Rupp history. Feel good about it if you can... I think UK was a big reason they didn't play good along with the crowd. If you are KY then I think you have to feel like you have a good chance to go deep this year. You just took the best team in the country to the last shot of the game. That is after shooting awful from the free throw line and as bad as you will see a team shoot from 3 point land!
