For the record that is 5 straight for Billy over Tubby.... we need to win soon or it won't be a rivalary.

What's with the banana? Didn't mark you a Florida fan.

I straight hate Florida as a Kentucky basketball and Florida State fan. I despise the Gators. This has been a bad couple of years for me.

I dont hate UF but I respect their success on hardwood as of late. I really do like their football team however. Big Urban Meyer fan here.

Amen!!!

I think UK was a big reason they didn't play good along with the crowd. If you are KY then I think you have to feel like you have a good chance to go deep this year. You just took the best team in the country to the last shot of the game. That is after shooting awful from the free throw line and as bad as you will see a team shoot from 3 point land!

B-O-L-O-G-N-A. You are looking for excuses and you know it. Both teams missed open shots. Both teams missed FTs. Both teams didn't shoot well from deep. Florida was in rare foul trouble, and yes a lot of that is the aggressive nature of the UK guards in getting in to the lane. But it is also something you almost never see from the Gators. This was the worst case scenario for UK IMO. Florida was off their game. The nation was watching. Rupp was INSANE. And UK lost. Not good. Any way you spin it...

If you look at the total history of the "rivalry" it really isn't much of one either...

I agree GT, You can't put it any better.

GT you never answered me if you and Billy squashed things... your speaking very highly of him the last year or so.

Well now that they are the current SEC power and we are the former SEC power, its a rivalry.

I'm tired of looking back at the "good ol' days." I want to see the win-loss differential increasing, not decreasing.

UK was off their game as well.

New born rivalry, it hasn't always been one.

I interviewed him quite a bit while I was at Marshall. He was always very good to me. I think you might be thinking of my problems with Jim Donnan...

Now that is B O L O G N A. Both teams played bad but the fact that UK played so much worse and still almost won means a lot. UK and UF shot terribly because of each others defense and just simply being ice cold at times. UF is good but didnt really impress me. Vitale said that Noah has been up and down all year so its something people have seen this year more than once. So therefore its something you see quite often for UF, not something that is that rare.
