It's such that I can't even root for the kid to do well in any game, just because I want people to shut up about him. UK didn't recruit him, people need to get over it. It stinks, and he clearly would have helped, but it has been years. There are other mistakes that are haunting this team more than one guy they didn't go after.
February 11, 200719 yr UK just couldn't get over the hump. Hard to swallow losing to the Gators when they played about as bad as they can... UK had something to do with Florida playing bad, also.

February 11, 200719 yr Tennesse has a pretty pure shooter... I did not want to mention his name because they would say I am beating a dead horse. How many close games would we have won over the last five years if we just had one pure shooter. Tubby style is fine but he is stubborn to a fault with it. Use your syle but give us a little mix of offense also. All the final fours teams with have a dead eye shooter on the team.
February 11, 200719 yr He kills me quite often. I know his point totals are good, but he's a black hole when the ball is passed to him. Nothing sharp about his game, except supposedly he's a good shooter. Wasn't there tonight; and I judge big games harder than a trip to Ole Miss. I understand this because Meeks has more of an offensive game and was playing good "D" because he was deflecting passes and getting in the passing lanes. Crawford should have seen the bench a whole lot earlier in the 2nd half. I cant believe he was in there during the last part of the game.

February 11, 200719 yr What's funny is there's no way UK would recruit a guy like Lee Humphrey. No way, because he doesn't pass the "athletic" look test. Yet he is one of the key contributors to this Florida team (although not so much tonight). I would argue they don't win a title last year without him.

February 11, 200719 yr UK finally played for a whole ball game. It kills you when the leagues best FT shooter goes 3-8. But without Bradley and his heart it would have been a worse loss. UK couldnt hit the three therefore allowing Florida to pack the middle with a match up 2-3. Bobby Perry is not a big game player, and Crawford finally went cold.
