February 11, 200719 yr GT, Florida didn't play bad. :lol: They are not a team prone to foul trouble, and they made some very stupid fouls that landed starters and reserves on the bench. The Gators didn't shoot well. Just like UK they missed more than a few open looks. If you've watched Florida this year, you know it's not often they play as poorly as they did tonight. UF didn't play well and UK still didn't have a lead all game in front of the biggest and maybe loudest crowd in Rupp history. Feel good about it if you can...
February 11, 200719 yr I'm so sick of all the bashing. You know what, if UK would hit their shots, they beat the top team in the nation tonight. Tubby coached a good game, the players just didn't hit the shots. Florida is not unbeatable. UK has as good of a chance of making a final four as any other SEC team.

February 11, 200719 yr HECKUVA game by the Wildcats...Absolutley played their hearts out and gave it EVERYTHING they had...Unfortunately, for the Cats, the shots just weren't falling from behind the arc, and that's why they came up short...Nothing at all to be ashamed of Cats, you played hard. :thumb: :thumb: I agree. A little better start and some shots going down and the Cats win. It's a tough loss but time to get ready for Tenn.
February 11, 200719 yr How so? Donovan wasn't great, but I didn't see much out of Smith either, Smith had the Cats controlling the tempo. The Cats played the defense. They outrebounded Florida. The Cats didn't make their free-throws, and there isn't a thing that Tubby could do to change that. If Florida is "elite," then why didn't they run away with this game? A good coach could have found a way to win by 10+. I'm not a Tubby supporter, but this loss was far from his fault.

I agree Perry needs to step up and be a leader, but 1 man didn't cost us this one! Yea I agree this whole team played bad except Morris> Now I think that the whole team very good on D!

February 11, 200719 yr AGREED!!!:thumb: Tubby did a great job tonight!!! He couldn't make those shots go in for our players! He recuited those players that are not good shooters. We have not had a pure shooter since Cameron Mills.
