I hope that Patrick Patterson saw how much we need him on the block tonight.

Lucas was watching also.....He would've definitely helped with our shooting from behind the arc.

Remember now UF is recruiting him HARD also.

I think you have to give credit to both teams defense for the offensive struggles.

Yes the cold shooting from three and poor freethrow shooting hurt. But Cory Brewer was the difference in the game.

I hope he sees how big of a help he can be here.

Here's my main point. When you play a legit #1 (and I think we can all agree that's what Florida is) you need a lot to go your way to beat them. Such things include...

1. Foul trouble for their best players.

2. Their best shooter is ice cold.

3. Your D gives them fits.

4. Your crowd is EPIC.

5. You get a shot to send it to OT with their roster in major foul trouble.

UK had a ton go their way, and they lost. Like I said. Keep spinning...

UF has been recruiting him HARD the entire time but UK has been in there the longest. Not that time really matters anymore, just putting that out there.

HECKUVA game by the Wildcats...Absolutley played their hearts out and gave it EVERYTHING they had...Unfortunately, for the Cats, the shots just weren't falling from behind the arc, and that's why they came up short...Nothing at all to be ashamed of Cats, you played hard. :thumb:

Classy post Deuce!!!!

I think UF is going to be eliminated from his list within a week or so. He wants to stay close to home, and doesn't like large campuses. I think UK's main competitor for Patterson is Duke.

Still have to go to: Florida, Vandy, Tenn, Alabama.... ahhh

I think UK only loses to Florida during this stretch. Maybe Vandy too but I have a gut feeling that we only lose one more before the tourney.

OK, Gottlieb just threw it out there saying that this was a terribly officiated game, with strong inference that it was in favor of Kentucky (forgetting that the fouls were all but even, there was just more of them on single players for UF). What say you, how was this game officiated?

BTW, Gottlieb has fast attained the position of analyst I like the least. I'm not going to say some of his points aren't valid, but while you do want actual victories rather than moral, he acts like UK just got blown out.

Anyone else just hear Doug Gottlieb say how the game had horrendous officiating???

I thought it was a very well officiated game on both sides.

Goodness I hope your right. I could see us losing all of them. UK on the road... is hit or MISS.
