Ole Miss 39 Georgia 34 (CFP Quarterfinals)

Final. What a game! This is the best game of the CFP so far this season!

The further Ole Miss goes, the funnier it is that Lane Kiffin left.

I badly need Ole Miss to beat Miami.

My question is if Lane Kiffin ever gets this far in his time at LSU? I doubt it.

At this point I'd be ok with Ole Miss winning it all just to make Kiffin look that much more like an idiot.

Why did UGA not try a Hail Mary?

Ole Miss gifted them one extra play...which was unbelievable to begin with.

It's hard not to root for Indiana, but just because of Kiffin, I want Ole Miss.

Chambliss was very impressive tonight.

This was the 7th Sugar Bowl win for Ole Miss they are 2nd all-time to Alabama's 10 Sugar Bowl wins.

If you are going to do the laterals, get all your linemen off the field. Go all skill players and run the ball from the snap. Then do the rugby scrum line.

That's basically where I'm at as well.

Chambliss story is awesome, from D2 last year to leading his team deep into the college football playoffs this year. He seems like a class act from what little I've seen, repeatedly thanking Ole Miss and the people of Oxford for giving him the opportunity.

Rule wise you have to have at least 5 players numbered 50-79. Now there is a scrimmage kick exception but I don’t know what college rule is on that. They changed that rule in HS about 20 years ago and if I remember correctly it was just a loophole for FED HS rule teams.

That is a really good/interesting idea.

I’m very happy for Ole Miss, and I wouldn’t be surprised at all if Kiffin doesn’t go this far with LSU.

Hands down, there may not be a better game the rest of the way.

Because the Hail Mary is still on it's way to Tau Ceti.

Quietly, Lane Kiffin has put together an uninspiring resume against the big boys of college football. Last season was the first time he kind of got over the hump, defeating UGA, and I suppose one could argue that beating OU this year was monumental. Beyond that, it is rough. I think because he is such a character and tweets funny stuff, people believe he is on par with the elites. He is not that (yet), but it does seem the new landscape of the sport may fit his style better than before the transfer/NIL world we now live in.
