Everyone, this gives you some idea about what I see "working" the games all year.

For the record, I have put my bridesmaid dress in storage.  So, I expect this day to be all about the Rams this time.

Raceland running east and west and KCD all over that like flies on baked beans on the 4th of July.

Runner-up four years in a row for Raceland?

    That's TOUGH.

That just shows how hard it is to win it!

Davidson from KCD named MVP, which is no surprise.

    Definitely for Raceland.

What a dumb decision on 4th down to be in a hurry. Two years In a row the coach has cost his team with decisions. You have to make sure you get a first and you go empty backfield qb sneak.

I think you have call a timeout on the biggest play in program history and get the right call in there. You get it, line up and spike it to stop the clock.

    He definitely deserved it.

These 2 teams represented 1A really well.  Outstanding game!

Congratulations KCD on your first Championship!  That is special!

Congratulations to Raceland on your outstanding season.  The Rams outgained KCD something like 350 to 150.

I thought the penalties were HUGE against Raceland and the timing of the KCD timeouts to get their defense a breather were instrumental in limiting Raceland to 3 instead of 7 at the end of the first half and the ended up being the difference on the scoreboard.  Congrats to both teams!

Congrats to KCD.  What a game.  I feel for Raceland as they lose another Title opportunity.

Congrats KCD. Jones and staff has instrumented a heck of a game plan two weeks in a row. Last week to get revenge on Campbellsville after they dropped their only loss of the year to campbellsville 27-17 and then to beat Raceland in the state championship… heck of a coaching job and preparing your kids to be mentally tough and refuse to lose.
