A lot of departures and injuries have plagued the Eagle football team this year. I still look for the Eagles to be competitive in 1A.

Another big loss to Cville. That two coaches and their starting QB gone this off season. Wish Coach Griffin nothing but the best he will be successful at anything he does

Congrats KCD. Jones and staff has instrumented a heck of a game plan two weeks in a row. Last week to get revenge on Campbellsville after they dropped their only loss of the year to campbellsville 27-17 and then to beat Raceland in the state championship… heck of a coaching job and preparing your kids to be mentally tough and refuse to lose.

I was really surprised by this score. Campbellsville was physical all year and dominated up front on both sides of the ball all year long. KCD was able to flip the script and out played campbellsville. They were the more physical team and it showed. Campbellsvilles offensive game plan looked out of sync as well, never had good field position. Just about anything that could have went wrong for them did. Congrats KCD.

Another question, are both teams healthy? They both have had brutal schedules.

What can Raceland do differently to keep Pikevilles offense from picking up where they left off last game? Will they stick to the same game plan and do normal Raceland things or will they adjust to what Pikeville had success on? Seems to me in this series Pikeville has always made the in game adjustments to find a way to win, will Raceland finally flip the script and be able to beat the Goliath of 1A football?

Pikeville has Raceland number in the post season. I believe pikeville wins and goes on to win a state championship. It’s bred in them, they know how to win this time of year and they are battled tested. Give me Pikeville 28 Raceland 17

#55 dominates on both sides of the ball. Hearing that one of the KCD lineman got lineman of the year and #55 is taking it personal. Hope they get to match up Friday night. Gonna be an interesting night?

Campbellsville wins this one 35-17 and makes their 1st appearance to Kroger field in program history. The score from the game earlier in the year is a little deceiving. C-Ville dominated KCD, couple TDs called back and they gave up a late TD.

Campbellsville has been beat the last two years in the semi state by the state champ. In 2023, they played with Pikeville and ended up getting beat. Pikeville went on to win. Then in 24 the played Sayre in the semi state and then they went on to win the state championship.

The old saying is defense wins championships. C-Ville proved that tonight holding NCC under 100 yards of total offense and only 25 at the half and winning their third region championship in a row.
