Kudos / Full-on respect to Boyle County & congrats on the championship…I consider myself a “Rebel “Glazer”” / “title town supporter”…BUT the assumed “call” in question was abZurd - hopefully anyone who watched the play can agree.

Which, imho, makes any reference to blocked PATs completely inconSEquential…I’d say The Rebels were gifted the semi-final DUB - Corbin’s RedHounds ‘earned’ a chance to win last week’s game.

This is where Corbin's fans run into a wall with this argument. Let's give Corbin the ball with 3 minutes left. No one knows what would have happened, they may have fumbled the very next play. They may have scored and we may have drove right down the field and won the game. Corbin never lead in that football game a single second. To just blanket it as a generalization that that one single play meant Corbin won the game when there was still 3+ minutes on the clock and they were trailing is ridiculous. Tavi was down last year before he fumbled but it sent us home anyway. Bad calls happen.

I'm not blaming it on one play, but that one play stopped Boyle until.....the infamous whistle. It's one play that had an outcome on the game. Just like 2 blocked extra points had a big outcome on the game.

This 100%. It’s a certainty that Corbin wins based on that call which is crazy. They seem forget there are many aspect to the game other than just one call! Facts hurt peoples feelings! 

5 championships in less than 100 games. Very impressive!

At least that coach got to finals and there is a whole lot more to that story than a coach bailing and I assume you know it but just wanted to gain some satisfaction for yourself with that post.  Cheers!

He did get to the finals, but it's sports. I will root against him no matter where he goes because he negatively effected the school I cheer for by his indecision.

What a amazing job the Boyle's coaching staff has done this season.  Nick Mills did a great job this season with the defense. We had Franklin County with -19 yards rushing for the game with 6 sacks.  That goal line stop in the 3rd. quarter was a site to see.  4 straight times Boyle stuffed Franklin County at the goal line to keep them out of the endzone and maintain a 14-0 lead.  That was a difference maker in the game.

Pre Season it was said many times that Boyle will fall back with no Quisenberry on the team.  What's Boyle going to do?  It's called next man up!  JiDyn Smith-Hisel is the true meaning of a team player. Waited his turn as a scout player the past 3 seasons for his chance and did what ever it took to help the team.  His last 3 games has been unchartered territory for a Boyle running back and Boyle has had some really good ones back in the day.  Smith-Hisel's 440 rushing yards against Covington Catholic was a school record and backed that up with 180 last week and we had him with 208 last night in the State Title game.  The Kid is the perfect example of making the most of a opportunity!   

Seneca Driver is the best player in Kentucky now.  Offense, Defense, or blocking it doesn't matter it's 100% at all times.  He changed his number to #5 this year for a reason.  Duggins, Dawson, and Quisenberry, they all have something in common that he wants badly.  Before it's all said and done he will be the most sought out player EVER to wear the Rebel uniform.  He pretty much has his choice to go to any university he chooses to attend.    

Congratulation for 13 Championships in 26 years!  Titletown USA!   Who Ya With!
