I was the same way as you guys. I was wrong about Coach Cobb and didn’t give him enough time. He has my full support now. If he gets his third trophy in five years, he will be in rare company.  Go Rocks!!!!

 .  I honestly know nothing about South Warren. From reading 88’s synopsis,I don’t know how this could be a close game. I know anything can happen, but this Rock team is laser focused and in prime playoff mode. I, too have warmed up to Coach Cobb. He has gotten better each year and is now a fine leader. 
If the best teams SW has played are Manual and 2 5A teams , then they are in for a rude awakening when the Rocks roll into Lexington.

South Warren plays to get the ball out of the Qb hands quick and in space but as others mentioned the level of competition can cause false hope in what works and what doesn’t. 

South Warren 3-0 in this game in their history across 4A and 5A

Trinity 29-4 in this game across 3A, 4A, and 6A

Not sure that has any bearing on this game, but figured I'd throw it out there. I think Trinity is historically talented and seems to be clicking at the right time this year. I don't know much outside of what has been posted here about South Warren, and I hope they continue to have success in this class.

I think the Shamrocks will be too much for the Spartans, as they have been for every other team from Kentucky this year. Difficult to land on a score prediction, but I don't see it being close. Trinity looks to capture an unprecedented 30th state title, also forming a 3-peat. This would put them into their own category in Kentucky, and in rare air nationally, with my research showing only 5 schools with 30 or more state titles in the entire country.

SW will have trouble running the ball against the Rocks, so they will have to pass successfully and consistently to move the chains. The way the Rocks are executing in all phases of the game, SW needs inclement weather to keep the outcome in question into the second half. A running clock is more likely than a close game. Best wishes to both teams. 

Coach Cobb and his staff exemplify the Pride in each other, Loyalty to the team and the school’s mantra, the Discipline it takes each year to win it all, and how trophies are not the true Achievement you get by winning the last game of the year. 
 

When the kids realize it fully, you get what happened last night. There is no stopping this team from the title and as an alumni I am incredibly proud of what they have molded. Go Rocks! ☘️

I’d like to see SW win, I’m not a dynasty guy (unless it’s my team), but after seeing both play Friday I’m going Rocks without a problem. Their dline was unreal Friday.

Should be South Warren because I believe they use RPI to determine home team.

South Warren is the higher RPI ranked team. The Rocks should be wearing their white jerseys and green pants.
