Trinity has several starters from this team back next year so Trinity will be number one to start 2026.

I think they can potentially go undefeated unless play some insane national team like IMG Academy.

Not sure when they will announce it but they are playing in a national showcase game next year that is why they asked Douglass to not play next season. It is one like the Broncos played in Ohio in 2023.

I really appreciate all of the comments and play by play from everyone.  My wife and I had a date night tonight and I missed the entire second half while out to dinner.  Every time she picked up her phone to check on the kids I used the opportunity to check in on the game (couldn't get into trouble with the wife if she picked up the phone first - HA!)  and what a game it become in the Second half.

I felt that this game was hard fought.  T's offense was not in sync tonight and that left the door wide open for an upset bid.   SW however could not capitalize on enough of the opportunities to completely close the gap.  A few missed plays here and there by both SW and T kept this game at arms reach.  With just a few luckier bounces of the ball either way we could have been looking at a running clock for T or possibly OT knotted at 28.

In the end it fell right in the middle and I feel both teams can walk away with their heads held high on a very hard fought contest.

My MVP for this game is the Trinity D.  Even with the coverage breakdowns it was the timely Interceptions and Sacks that closed this one out.

Congratulations on a great first season in 6A to SW!
Congratulations T on Title #30!

and of course:
GO ROCKS!

The Rocks complete the mission, the three-peat, and capture state championship number 30!

What a great game. Trinity didn't play their best but was able to stay ahead and take home the trophy.

Hats off to South Warren. A great program Coach Brandon Smith has there in Bowling Green. I expect these two programs to meet in the playoffs in the future as well. I was really impressed with their play on both sides of the ball. Very well-coached and certainly the best in-state opponent the Rocks faced all year.

Congratulations to Trinity on winning state and to South Warren on a really good season too. I was impressed with how South Warren played too. They will be a contender in 6A.

Congrats = Great win by T.

Hats off to SW.

Best team T has played - IMHO.

There was no quit in them. Cam to play, Not intimidated.

T was sub-par tonight, but not to take anything away from SW.
