Missed opportunities!!! Can’t make that many mistakes on money downs and expect to beat the best. S/o trinity, what a machine. Can def say it was a successful first year for South in 6A. I’m now on the @Purple88 train where I need south to start scheduling some heavy hitters.

I didn't see exactly what happened but T didn't punt and the punter got tackled at the 14 yard line with 11 seconds left.  If SW scores on this play it is not over. 

7 seconds left now, there just isn't the time to win now.

Final.

Trinity received the opening kickoff and started on their 15 yard line.  After two quick first downs Ashton Taylor ripped off a 51 yard run to put Trinity up 7-0 with 1111 in the first.  South Warren started on their own 14 and drove the length of the field before missing a 30 yard field goal.  Each team went three and out twice to end the first quarter.

After a SW punt to start the second quarter Trinity started on their 46 yard line.  Trinity mixed runs and passes to move down the field and missed a 46 yard field goal with 1002 left in the half. Trinity got back on the board on Jamaurion Berry 40 yard touchdown run to put the Rocks up 13-0 with 758 left in the half.  The Spartans drove to the redzone and Brennen Lowe intercepted South Warren in the endzone.  The Shamrocks quickly moved down the field and scored on a 26 yard pass from Zane Johnson to Cross Watson.  Next Johnson hit Kaleb Warner for a two point conversion to take a 21-0 lead with 33 seconds left in the half. 

Isaiah Bridges took the second half kickoff to the house for South Warren to make it 21-7 Trinity with 1147 left in the 3rd quarter. Trinity's Cross Watson answered by returning the ensuing kick to the South Warren 44.  Jamaurion Berry scored on another long run to put Trinity up 28-7 with 1115 in the 3rd.  South Warren answered immediately with a 54 yard touchdown pass from Camden Page to Jake Carter to make it 28-14 Trinity with 909 left in the third quarter.  Myles Howze came up with a big interception in South Warren territory with just under 6 minutes to play in the third.   South Warren stepped up and stopped Trinity at the 30 yard line with 336 to play in the 3rd.  

With 539 to play in the 4th Elijah Burns-Crump intercepted South Warren at the one yard line. Again the Spartan defense stopped Trinity and took over at the Trinity 49 after a Shamrock punt. There was no scoring in the 4th quarter.

Congrats Trinity!  Congrats Coach Cobb!

I believe the guys on PrepSpin said with the lost yards on the bad snap on the punt attempt that South Warren had more total yards for the game than Trinity did.

I like the fight SW put up. But they missed some opportunities early in the first half. But Trinity is Trinity. I really believe we had the two best teams in this one.

Big shout out to South Warren for keeping this game way closer than many expected. Don’t think any other team in the state could give Trinity that close of a game. Congrats to Trinity on yet another state title. Must feel like regular game day for the Rocks at this point 

Congratulations to Coach Cobb and the Shamrocks on Championship #30!  Incredible!  Even in their 2 losses I felt the rocks were the better team and could have won both of those games too. Great season!

Have to tip my hat to Coach Smith and the Spartans. They played well tonight and made plays to keep themselves in this game. That is saying something against T. With the way 6A football is South will be in the hunt for the foreseeable future Add a few better games to the schedule and look out!
