Yes but not life or death - hoping the upset to differentiate between all of us sane people that picked trinity.  I think that is more a hope pick - like how people pick a 15 seed in the NCAA.

Agreed - South Warren is a top team in the state and Smith is a top tier coach…phenomenal job and maybe they outperform expectations - I would LOVE for SW to win, but it’s a tall hill for any team in the state.  Good luck to both teams!

Fats,

Primarily only Kayden York (plays RB and S) and Malik Butler (plays on both the DLine and OLine).

But they do have a couple guys that will do some spot duty on the other side, but don't play there all the time to my knowledge.

I don't think SW has to play out of the park to win here.  They just need to do what they do, not make mistakes and hope T's offensive has a bad night on the turnover front.  This is a 9 out of 10 scenario for the Rocks.  But that 1 out of 10 is why you play the game.

I do believe this is Coach Cobb's last game coaching the Rocks. Everything he stated in the discussion with Big Things Kentucky was true. I forgot how not playing a grade school season and freshman games hgurt. The limited rosters during covid also slowed things down. The Rocks are on a roll since then. I like Trinity 35-7. The Spartans score after the running clock is enforced. This could be the Rocks 30th State Title in football. This one will be extra special as it is our first encounter with South Warren on the gridiron. Drive safely and enjoy the 38 degree weather.

I believe when healthy, Ryle would have been the only team to avoid the running clock vs Trinity in 6A. I became a big fan of the South Warren program after last week. They have a great campus a well coached, talented team but I’d be surprised if they keep this close. 

Always pulling for the public school team but Trinity 42-6.

Coach Cobb stated when announced as the HC he had a 5 year plan. He didn't say what it was, but I think he accomplished it.

#2 York and #8 Bridges are skill players that play both sides. Their TE #12 doubles at DE and I think he will be the most affected along with #55 who plays T and DT. 

If Coach Cobb retires...I wonder where Trinity would go for a coach. Talk about drama.
