Thanks Jacob Savage - Ryle's Best
- Grayson Harris (Simon Kenton '26) Recruiting
Awesome player and a great kid and family. Congrats, Grayson!- 2025 Mr. Football Finalists
We were missing both our inside LB's for that game. It certainly would have been a different game with 2 of the best run stoppers in the entire state playing. Considering Ryle was up 1 at half without them, I'd like to think they would have won a close one with Jacob Savage and Kai Workman.- Trinity 28 South Warren 14 (6A State Championship)
I believe when healthy, Ryle would have been the only team to avoid the running clock vs Trinity in 6A. I became a big fan of the South Warren program after last week. They have a great campus a well coached, talented team but I’d be surprised if they keep this close. Always pulling for the public school team but Trinity 42-6.- 2025 Mr. Football Watchlist (11/18)

Ha, ok. You did state it was baffling, though. Glad that’s been cleared up.- South Warren 36 Ryle 20
What’s baffling about rooting for kids and teams from your area? Also, I’m not aware of a single person in NKY that thinks NKY is the best in the whole state and I know a lot of people…not one.- 2025 NKY Regular Season Top 10
Shoutout to Ludlow's Dameyn Anness. We love him in Union but are aware of his deep roots in Ludlow. Without him, Ryle would have been sent packing. He's a great kid all of NKY should be rooting for!- Ryle 28 Frederick Douglass 27 (OT)
What a game! Ryle playing the majority of the 2nd half without Savage and Workman then losing Safety Kincaid it seemed improbable Ryle would finish that game. Anness had an incredible game filling in for Savage with 3 TD’s. Verax had his best game of the year with 258 passing yards and the clutch 2 Pt game winning run. He’s such a weapon in the open field. Loved seeing him play defense too. Great seeing Gavin Lyons back and making plays. Kid has battled multiple injuries all year! Had a huge sack late in the game and contributed on offense. Dylan Lee had a game. 5 catches for 181 yards, a blocked kick (which turned out to be a game saving block), and didn’t give up a catch on defense while defending FD’s best WR. Praying Savage and Workman can get healthy enough to play next week.- Ryle 41 Ballard 20
Cannon and fireworks will be ready.- Ryle 41 Simon Kenton 13
As usual….wrong.- Ryle 41 Simon Kenton 13
After a terrible start of the game (reminded me of the Cooper game) it was total domination for the Raiders. Ryle dominated all phases of the game. Score could have been a lot worse. Ryle needs to clean up some of their reoccurring mistakes. They have to be on pace to break the record for most illegal man field penalties in a season. Seems like we get 2-3 per game. Passing game is a disaster right now.- Ryle 41 Simon Kenton 13
Common opponents (CovCath, Conner, Campbell Co, Great Crossings): Ryle 4-0 Points scored 170 Points allowed 40 (w/ 2 shutouts) SK 3-1 Points scored 124 Points allowed 113 Not to beat a dead horse, but 3 of those Ryle wins were w/out 3 or more key starters. They'll be down 1 vs SK but will be the healthiest they've been since the Cov Cath game.- Ryle 41 Simon Kenton 13
Incorrect. Ryle's current senior class played him every up to 8th grade, most years multiple times. He played up as a Frosh his 8th grade (after being held back) and Ryle won w/out Savage fairly easily.- Ryle 41 Simon Kenton 13
Ryle played without starting LB (Workman), DE (Gay) and DB/WR (Lyons) vs Great Crossing. I’m hearing at least 2 will be back vs SK. If so, that will be the healthiest they’ve been since the CovCath game. Last year’s game was very embarrassing for SK. I suspect (and hope) this game will be closer but seeing the score of SK vs CC I’m not sure it will be. Ryle’s running game of Savage and Anness is dialed in. Passing game looked better vs Great Crossing now that Lee isn’t playing with one hand. Savage and Workman are great run stoppers. If SK is relying on the run they’ll be in trouble. Harris is a great WR, but Lee hasn’t given up a catch all year and has 5 INT. JR safety Kincaid leads 6A in INT’s. Again, I think a healthy Ryle is a matchup nightmare for SK.- Ryle 41 Simon Kenton 13
Funny, if my math is correct, those seniors played Fryman 11 times over the years and went 11-0.- Ryle 41 Simon Kenton 13
Ryle is a horrible matchup for the Pioneers. I see a potential running clock game similar to last year.- Highlands 28 Ryle 24
- Highlands 28 Ryle 24
Facts- Highlands 28 Ryle 24
He’s a great player but w/out that OLine, he gets gobbled up by Ryle’s LB. Give credit where credit is due. Highlands might have the best OLine in the state. W/out them, Ryle wins big.- Highlands 28 Ryle 24
It’s definitely a penalty and certainly changes the game. Ryle has a chance to get another FG or TD before half w/ getting the ball to start 2nd half. TD puts them up by 10 before half. Ryle scored 14 unanswered points to start 2nd half. That would have been a 21 point lead going into 4Q. Game over. Ryle continues to have to deal w/ major injuries and obvious game changing bad penalties. They played w/out multiple key starters once again. In addition to the ridiculous no call on the botched punt, the sack fumble no call and the holding call on Anness on last drive was awful too. Playing w/out multiple key starters the last few weeks have been very frustrating for the Ryle faithful. We all know we are probably undefeated w/ all of them playing but not much we can do about it now. I suspect they’ll run the table from here until playoffs with ease. The team that handled CovCath (God willing) will be back by playoffs. District foes, be ready for their wrath!- Highlands 28 Ryle 24
Agree that was a huge play. Also a huge miss call by the refs against Highlands. Center was 30 yards down the field. Should have been a penalty against Highlands. No clue how they can miss that one.- Beechwood vs. Simon Kenton Prediction/Updates
SK is always good in the preseason. They haven’t figured out the regular season, though.- Beechwood vs. Simon Kenton Prediction/Updates
Embarassing. Was hoping SK could represent 6A a little better but they just don’t have it this year.- Cooper 20 Ryle 13
I stated harder to "win" not to make it. 6A is still harder to make it to the finals than 5A. I don't think that's really debatable, although I'm sure someone will try. - Grayson Harris (Simon Kenton '26) Recruiting
