Am I correct to assume that an announcement was imminent, but maybe that person is now reconsidering his options based upon another opening?

Not to my knowledge. I know that Brossart was told no by someone who will end up in the NewCath search. That happened weeks ago.

Uh, no. 

This does make for an interesting dynamic between the two Campbell Co catholic schools. A chance to build your own legacy and make Brossart a small school power, or Add to the long history of NCC football and put your name next to state championship coaches and break in a brand new stadium with outstanding community support. 
 

Maybe this will finally get these two programs to finally play every year and develop a heated rivalry.

Jacob Martin, Pendleton County Defensive Coordinator and former Brossart assistant under Coach Wiggins, has been named head coach. He graduated Brossart 2017.
