  • Jacob Martin, Pendleton County Defensive Coordinator and former Brossart assistant under Coach Wiggins, has been named head coach. He graduated Brossart 2017.

  • Scott Wise would be a great hire for Brossart. Played and I believe won a State Title at Highlands, Played football and earned a Economics Degree from College of Holy Cross in Worcester Massachusetts.

  • I hope he or whomever is ok.

Ahh, I didn't realize that.

I only know that because I'm friends with a couple of parents.

I'm lost. Please educate me.

For a school that doesn’t lack confidence in their football program, the higher ups sure make the fans look foolish. You have a huge amount of support from the community, from the student body and from the parents. What are they doing? Hire someone you believe in, give him a long leash and get out of the way.

Without knowing much background of Brossart or how it would play with the community, I’d give my endorsement to Ed Smart if he wants the job. You’d have an entire part of the state that would tell you that you all smoked that hire if it ended up coming to fruition. Best of luck, regardless!

Parents told me he was leaving at the NewCath game.  Not going to say who, obviously, but the community knew.  I'm sure the school did as well.

Assuming the administration wasn't anticipating Coach Kozerski's resignation on November 19th, they're currently 50 days out as of today. Given the circumstances, I don't really feel like this is all that crazy of a wait.

Probably the theme song on the Scott thread, but it's still on loop till Feb. 1

A big monkey wrench just got thrown into their hiring process.

Brossart.  Give it about 3 hours and you will see why.

So that either means a guy was offered the job and turned it down or a decision maker is retiring/ leaving for a new job?

No.  It has nothing to do w/ Brossart or its hiring process directly.  It is the affect it will have on their process that I'm talking about.
