My apologies for the outdated address.

Great Italian at reasonable prices. By far the best I've had in Eastern Ky.

GoRadio, I must say one last thing before I leave my humble abode and search for this eatery. Your comment last night about calling up Mel Gibson was so funny that I was giggling in my sleep. Very witty and I love your stlye. Have a great day!

I think the 16th Region has some of the better coaches in the State:

Not in any particular order:

1. West Carter : Hop started a dynasty and it has been carried on

2. Rose Hill: Coaching Staff is hard to beat, very versatile

3. East Carter: Hagar is a terrific coach

4. Raceland: Bobby Trimble will build a winning program if given the time

5. Ashland : Bradley and the back door cut/ Old School at its best

7.Boyd County: Fraley knows the game but team is a little down this year

8. Fairview: Believe it or not, I think the coach will do well over time

(Not even Pitino could turn a program around in one year).

9. Russell is loaded with unreal talent year in and year out. What do they feed those kids down there?

I know I have left out a few but that was not done with the intention of being disrespectful, just dont know much about them personally.

By the way, GoRadio, please do not ever disgrace yourself by saying you are not as good as other local sports announcers. In all honesty I have listened to you and I think you do a great job. You may not be up there with Caywood but you a certainly better than the ones that you previously mentioned. What I said earlier was not intended to you but the overall situtation of officials, we dont see eye to eye, so what? Keep calling it as you see it.

I would have to put Troy Lee Thomas in there, as well.

Were you at the game?

No, but both of these teams to too good to lose to the other by 30 points - on any night.

First of all, thanks for the kind words and thanks for listening. I appreciate that very much. I do remember the play in question now and do feel Terry was probably fouled, but deferred to one that was closer to the play than was I. As far as the "T" on Britt, I know for a fact that she and Coach Euton were warned about her comments directly to the officials. I agree that I have heard much worse said, but most officials have a breaking point and apparently she crossed a line. I know this is not the first time she has been "T'd up" this season and sadly, probably won't be the last. I will agree to disagree with you about the conspiracy theory. I just don't see it, but if you do, I will respect your opinion.

I agree with all of your comments GoRadio and also want to echo those others who have complimented you on your announcing. I listened to you guys alot especially during the post season run of regionals and state. I thoroughly enjoyed all of the broadcasts from the girls state tourny last year. It was so good to hear local folks, calling the game for local girls they know. Your radio station is always programmed into my car radio throughout the year especially during baseball season to cheer on my beloved Reds. I can't wait for Spring training to start now that the NFL is done.

Of course that is until July/August when we here at Russell begin to get excited about our football friday nights!!

Heck, since we're talking about all sorts of stuff on this thread, we might as well argue who is the best dressed basketball coach/staff in the region.

Who don's the Armani? Nobody wears a 10 gallon hat and boots do they? No fashion statements out there?

Just lightening it up a bit.

Troy Lee Thomas and Eric Keeton should be on this list.

Troy Lee still wear the lavender suit? Looks like M.C. Hammer?

Yeah it is probably time to start another thread.

Does anyone find it a little funny that the winning teams supporters are the ones crying? I have yet to see one post from someone from East Carter on here complaining about the calls, and they were just as bad toward them.

I find it hilarious how every Rose Hill fan seems to think that everyone is out to get them.

Ahh, nothing like stereotyping. I'm a Rose Hill fan, and I challenge you to find where I've ever posted that everyone, or anyone for that matter was out to get Rose Hill.

Did he win the Masters to get that green jacket?

Maybe what BigBubba posted about the refs is true. It must have been bad if the winning team is still complaining about the calls.
