February 6, 200719 yr I do not like adverse weather in football...many traditionalists say it is part of the game....I disagree, just because someone can keep their hands dryer than another man, or one man's balance is better in mud, that is OK? yeah right....the Super Bowl should be played in ideal conditions every single time...but being that it has rained in 1/41 Super Bowls...I will give them a pass.

February 6, 200719 yr IMO you can't move the Super Bowl to just domed venues, I personally enjoyed watching the game in the rain last night. I think it needs to stay in a warm clomate, but if it rains, it is fine. This is the first time it has happened so it shouldn't be that big of a deal...

Weather (and homefield advantage) should play factors in teams making it to the Super Bowl (i.e. playoffs), but not affect the outcome of the year's biggest game. The weather issue can create a bias, or an advantage to a team who sees bad weather more often. I see no reason not to have the game in Detriot, St. Louis, Indy, Minnesota, Arizona, New Orleans......
