At first blush I think KSR has Boyle and Franklin too high.

Sometimes on BGP you may have to reload a page.

Overall a pretty decent list, not sure Douglass is quite that good at the moment and Central definitely isn’t with how much production was lost. Obviously I would like to see my Cards get more love but I think if we beat BG in a few weeks all will work out!

I don't see Great Crossing being ranked and not Scott Co.

This is all about last year.  The teams getting the love are the teams that made deep runs in the playoffs last year.  As most BGP fans know, its a new day and all new teams.  Not to say these teams won't be in the mix, but teams like Owensboro, Scott County and Pulaski County are too low; just to stay in 5A for example.

BG at #4, while I appreciate that, I just don’t know. Too many unknowns. 

I.M.O., Highlands and Covington Catholic should be higher to the top in rankings.

I’m not sure why these people do these preseason rankings if they are not going to at least do a little homework. And not just KSR but most. About all of them are based on last year and we know what happened last year so I don’t really understand the point. I know not everyone likes the AP but I think they do it smarter what do they wait until after the third game before they come out with rankings.

I agree everyone needs to "put the work in" but I disagree on the AP.  I mean, if you are just going to wait three weeks, study the BGP (and other) rankings, and then have the benefit of the game results, a monkey could do that.  Let's face it, most AP voters are in no position to vote on statewide rankings.

Whoever does rankings and really this goes for college too should do a little work. Its not a who has the best history as a program but I feel like a lot rank them that way.

Again, we agree on the work.

As for college, get the committee out of it and let the computer decide the top college football teams.
