Not sure why OCath is getting penalized after winning by 54 points?

If anything I would think OCath should have stayed steady and maybe even should have moved up after Bowling Green nearly upset CAL.

Beechwood got zapped too after a big win.

Or Woodford County getting dinged 3 spots.....for being on bye.  That bye must be tougher to face than what everyone thought.

If I had to predict.. I think the KSR rankings are either a one man or two man show.

Seems like a lot of moving puzzle pieces around so if Team A beat Team B but Team B beat Team C that there aren't any real consequences.

Rankings will never be perfect and will always have "gotchas" from unexpected results... but usually at least there should be a consistency to them. When Belfry jumps OCath for seemingly no reason or no explanation then consistency is probably deserving to be called into question.

I like Cooper... but I don't like them "#10 in all of Kentucky" much. They have lost to three really good teams but two of those losses were blowouts and they have an impressive win over Ryle.. but not much else to write home beyond that.

KSR lists the following:

KSR Top 25 voters: Jalen Daugherty, Vic Evans, Daniel Hager, Troy Howell, Scott Ratliff, Phoenix Stevens, Lovell Martin, Sam Gormley, Travis Scaggs, and Les Dixon.

=============

Now it could be that some of those voters "collude" with each other (trying to be right/better, not anything nefarious) and as they learn more about certain teams they change their votes and boom you get some minor movement amongst the top teams that otherwise don't make sense.  In other words, sometimes it is "voter correction" over game results.

And LCA moves up after being on a bye!

Looks way off on that Trinity/St. X (OH) prediction.

No way Cincy St X scores 34 points.  They’ve failed to score more than 28 in a game all year & some of their games have been against teams less capable than Trinity.

Seriously, just ignore it.  This is something that they obviously don't want to put much time into, or don't have the knowledge to create a quality product.

Just look at the BGP rankings and move on.

*Cue the "it gets better as the season moves on".  Meaning:  After all the games are played, this is correct.

The Bell County thing still blows my mind. I don’t think they would beat any of the 10 teams ranked below them.

It’s like they (pollsters) war with each other on the votes.  Owensboro drops 2 while winning 62-7.  While Woodford leapfrogs them up 3.  I can only think each of these guys or some of them don’t like how the final poll is week to week and so they purposefully lower a team that’s doesn’t deserve it in their vote and raise a team they think is ranked lower overall.  It has to be because some of them are trying to manipulate the FINAL poll…but in the end it’s pretty terrible.  Makes a lot of sense judge.
