Neither of the 1A state finalists crack into the final Top 25.

St. X lost to two state champions and beat one state champion. I would put them #5.

I don’t think Ryle should be near that high.  X definitely deserves top 5-6.  I think Owensboro/ South Warren, X, Boyle  are all right under CAL.  I think all 4 would be evenly matched.  X vs O now would be very competitive as would the other 2 teams.  I’m just excited we won 5A but believe O is 3 to 6 and X is definitely in mix.

What would a matchup of this year between Trinity and CAL look like? Be realistic.

Probably similar to the South Warren result so maybe Trinity by 14.

If they played 10 times, Trinity wins 7 or 8.  Top level talent is on par, but Trinitys depth is what ultimately gives them the advantage.

CAL can beat Trinity I’d say it’s 5 to 5 in a set to 10…play each other next year and let's find out!
