1 technical equals basically getting fired? I've seen coaches eclipse that in one game, obviously getting thrown out, and get patted on the butt for standing up for their kids. I would have rather had good info on the multiple T's and thought he was getting overboard rather than know that it was 1 T that cost a great man his job.

Even if you do have a case, is it really worth it to go through that battle, and then come back to work in what will likely be an even worse environment where you'll need to be watching your back 24-7? Sure it sucks to have to leave a program you built into a success from the ground up and have to start all over again. But starting all over again has to be the better option than returning to a toxic environment.

Is the NKy market small enough and close enough that Sully’s departure under this cloud won’t leave a stain on his future?  Will the sun shine through all this because of the reputation he has built and rightfully earned?

Agree. Can't see Sullivan coming back unless the principal and AD are gone. Can't be looking over your shoulder 24/7. Obviously he believes in himself enough to tell the principal he isn't changing the way he builds culture. That SOB Standing On Business. Someone will respect his services else where and I am intrigued as can be to see where he lands. I hope it's in the 9th and he punishes Cooper every chance he gets.

Now that it's out there, here is what is going on with Tim and Cooper High School.
On January 21 this season, Tim was requested in a meeting with the principal and athletic director. The principal informed him that at the completion of the 24-25 season, Tim would have the choice to resign or he would be non-renewed as the basketball coach at Cooper High School, citing he didn't have a sense of urgency to improve the culture of the program. He was also told to keep it out of the public eye. Tim asked the principal if it was personal and he shook his head no, that it was just his decision to make and that he was making that decision now to give them more lead time to replace him and his entire staff.
We kept it secret for about a month with only the coaching staff and our oldest two knowing about it. We have requested, through an attorney, to meet with the superintendent or someone at the board who handles these matters, to discuss how Tim has been treated, not only this year, but for the last 17 years as a teacher and coach at Cooper. For over a month, our request to meet with someone has been shot down. Other things have happened that we feel has been swept under the rug by the administration at Cooper. 
We are fighting it. Tim's goal was always to finish his career at Cooper and have both our boys play for him. We are fighting this for our kids, for the program, the players and families that want their kids to play for Tim. Thank you to all of you for supporting Tim, our family and his program!
Right now, all Tim is focused on is enjoying each day and coaching his guys.

The one thing I noticed....Coach Sully seems to be fighting this. That tells me one of two things, or could be both:

1.) coach is extremely upset and hurt by this and his initial reaction is to fight back.

or

2.) Coach is very confident he has nothing to hide and wants this story to come out for all to hear.

The reason I say that is because fighting this and getting attorneys involved is going to bring out details about his long 16-18 years he has been there (don't remember when the school opened).

I can think of about eleventy billion schools who would gladly take Sullivan over what they’ve got. 

Always two sides to every situation.  It will be interesting to see how all this plays out. Please correct me if I am wrong, didn’t Conner and Dixie pass on Sullivan last offseason.  Not sure about Cov Cath.
