I did hear rumblings about a freshman coach having to resign mid way through the season. Don't know if it is relevant or not but could be another stain if it was because of disciplinary reasons.

I know the freshman coach was coach Lutz and he is as solid as they come. I was just on here about a month or so ago giving Lutz great reviews after his team lost by 20 lol ??? . Then someone told me they were cleaning house, I said no way they have a great staff top to bottom, then someone else said they were cleaning house and again I said no way, finally after about 3rd time being told that I checked with a trustworthy source and they said it was a done deal they were cleaning house and I still couldn't believe it.

Bally Shannon has an elite group of 8th grade ball players an I know for a fact this affects where they will be attending school next year, half won't be at Cooper. Thank the principal for messing up something really good that a man put his heart into building that had a huge trickle down effect.

I do know that Lutz got T'd up a ton this year and was told to watch it if he wanted to keep his job but that's Lutz pouring everything he has into his love for the game and the kids. Losing a freshman coach is one thing but being petty at the varsity level is going to set Cooper back, way back.

Assuming the reasoning is culture I would like the principal's definition/understanding of culture in this context.   In other words, what is the "culture" the principal wants changed and what "culture" does the principal want it changed to?

If your boss wants you out, and you have lots of options in life, do you really want to fight it?  More of a general question than anything.

Valid question. It will be interesting to see. I think the fact the he has built that program up from day one might make it a little harder to just let it go. 

I was at the Regional tournament last year and yes parents went nuts at the end of the game. It didn't appear to me that the HC was urging them to do so. I think it only has helped them to have moved on from Rondon by the way, so I'd put that in the camp of him improving the culture. The AD is obviously the football HC, is he also at odds with the basketball coach on culture?

From what I heard he is on the principals side, probably doesn't see it in his best interest to go against his boss. He definitely can't deny the stellar job Sullivan has done.

Respectfully this is completely false. He was T’d up in one game with 3 games left in the season. He was never warned about any sideline behavior. You are correct that he was forced to resign for getting T’d up though.

My mom has always been more honest than I liked. She was very fond of the coach.
