Not in this case. You won't find a group of parents more in support of a coach. 

The culture? Sully’s culture has always been top notch. 

He’s made it to two straight regional finals, what wrong with the “culture”. I’d like to hear the principles rationale here.

So sad. Been watching Sully coach for years and have seen nothing but top notch stuff! My son tried out but never made the team, Sully told him exactly what he needed to work on and actually encouraged him to do so! My son didn't put forth the effort and never tried out again! Hate to see this happen, couldn’t be a worse time also! 

I just recently stated in the Cooper football thread that I knew 4-5 families that were waiting to see how some things would play out before they decided where their kids would be attending school next year and this news on Coach Sulli is exactly what they were waiting for. Couldn't believe it was true when I heard it myself a few weeks ago. I think those families were hoping it wasn't true but they heard it from the horses mouth quite a while ago but we're holding out hope that something would be worked out. 100% chance those families now do not send their kids to Cooper that this has come out public and they were all 2 sport athletes and between all involved your talking 6-8 kids grades 7th-9th. Cooper will move on they won't close the doors but they for sure would of benefitted from these student athletes. I guess Cooper doesn't like a winning culture and wants a coach who will get on his hands and knees and praise the principal and just be a yes man. Cooper will fill the spot fast but be set back by losing all the foundational building Sulli has done. Where ever Sulli lands his school will gain a fan in me. I've never heard anyone mention anything close to Cooper having a culture problem ?????? that's hilarious to me and sooo disrespectful to probably the best coach in NKY. I was told this goes back to Rondon and the principal, AD and Sulli having different views on that situation.

I don't know the exact reason why this is happening so I won't assume to know, but it really would surprise me if it has anything to do with the principal's son not making the team.

I know in the past there has been some bad blood between coach and principal, but I think this mostly came from what occurred at last year's regional final game. A parent of one of the players threw an object on to the court toward the end of that game followed by a different parent trying to storm the court at the end of the game and getting into a small scuffle with the AD. 

On the surface that doesn't seem like a huge deal but when the two parties already had some previous bad blood and then that occurs it was just more "fuel for the fire".

With all of that being said, I personally think Coach Sullivan is getting railroaded and mistreated in this situation. The guy can flat out coach and you can tell that his players would run through a brick wall for him. His players graduate, go to college/work, and win a bunch of basketball games! 

Can you imagine your the favorite to win the region and you know that no matter what you won't be back next year because there is a culture issue. Insane to me.

That's the biggest thing right there. His players have the culture instilled in them to become productive members of society. I know many parents and players that are proud to say they were a part of coach Sulli's culture and his work keeps showing up years down the road after they have graduated and he stays connected to them in many ways. that's the testament to a great leader and coach what his kids do after graduation the W's are just a bonus in the moment.
