Hendrickson was definitely our game winner tonight. And Pittsburgh has really fallen. I don’t know how many drops Pickens and others had that were well thrown passes by Wilson. Pittsburgh is far from the team that they were earlier on. I thought Pittsburgh was going to win the division prior to their losing skid. 
 

I’m really torn on keeping Higgins or letting him go. I really like him as a player and believe he’s a great receiver when playing, but that’s the big question. I do have concerns from a durability perspective. In most likelihood I believe he will be gone after the season is done. It’s time to prepare for offense without him. Hopefully his replacement is equally talented and durable, which is a big ask and part of the reason I question him leaving. 
 

I do believe that keeping Hendrickson is a priority for the defense. 

This win was sheer guts. With all the injuries and players the Bengals had to rely on, they limped to the finish line in this game but they got the win they had to have. Nothing wrong with winning ugly. When that punted ball went off the toe of a Bengal and was recovered by the Steelers, I said that is the story of the 2024 Bengals. Weird happenings all over the place. But the Bengals overcame everything to get the win at Pittsburgh.

Got to give the defense some credit. As bad as they have been, they have stepped up and become at least that average defense we all hoped for earlier in the year. The result is the 5 game winning streak. Getting some stops gave the offense some breathing room to not need to be perfect to get wins.

Good game plans on both sides of the ball by the coaches. Good play calling. York got it done with the field goals but what the heck was with that kickoff that went out of bounds?

If I had to guess if the Bengals do make the playoffs. They would have the Bengals and Bills as the Saturday night prime time game. 

I don’t know his backstory but everytime the cameras were on George Pickens there were teammates apparently trying to keep his head in the game.  Despite the drops (which Bengals made some good swipes) and poor routes it just looked like he was not mentally focused.  I am wondering if he and Jermaine Burton were roommates somewhere, sometime?

I think they said this was Pickens first game back after missing three games.  Mentally, he wasn't ready.

In an interview after the game, York said he misstepped and was too far away from the ball when he kicked it.

Just saw ESPN's Sunday NFL Countdown that Tua is not playing for the Dolphins today vs. the Jets.

My game ball goes to Tomlin. That brilliant call right before half time was the 3 points the Bengals needed for the win.

That’s not much of a surprise. He’s been doubtful for a while. I can see Miami losing as I think they have no desire to return to up state NY next week.
