I’ve shoveled twice and cleaned off the cars. At least the snow isn’t the wet heavy stuff. Coming down pretty good in South Covington right now

Good point, it was easy to shovel. I don't plan on going anywhere so I left my car alone but I did a little work on my neighbors car.  Both in their 70s and both still work fulltime.

Look at her little hood.  I bet she's loving it. It does look like she can put her arms down, so that's good.

  • I love watching my southern friends gripe about the "cold" and winter weather. We call this Thursday where I live ?

Large garden flag blew onto my truck right as the freezing rain hit earlier today. Froze pretty quickly.

It is alive!

And was that you in the video JD, you were breathing very heavy, be careful.

Getting pelted by freezing rain that feels like small hail here in Southern Campbell County. Praying for those getting the worst of the freezing rain.

I feel like the freezing rain almost always hits Lexington give or take and is almost always just to the south of NKY.

In other news, I just had a Miller Lite, yummo.

I-75 South at 12th Street in Covington shutdown.  Or, the Cut in the Hill, to us locals.

The freezing rain finally shut the power down in my Owsley neighborhood. We made it to almost 11:00 pm tonight. I was hoping the temps stayed high enough to spare us but nope!

Thanks, I'd just been yelling at my dog.

We're pretty close to each other, with me being in Northern Pendleton County.  A lot of sleet/freezing rain here.  We watched a 2 hour movie and it was smacking against our windows the whole time.

Leo, my 85 lb Golden Doodle has absolutely loved this snow. He turns 6 in March, so this is by far the most snow he's ever experienced. Leo enjoyed it so much that after letting him into our fenced in backyard for 15-20 minutes at a time, I had to, on multiple occasions, bribe him by telling him he'd get a treat if he'd come back inside. Needless to say, he's been sleeping like a baby for the past hour or two.
