Its genuinely rooted in what I have seen with my own eyes. This Beechwood team took us to the wire last year at our place, and the next week we put 53 on OC. Beechwood is better this year, and a case can be made (and has on this thread) that OC is not better than last year. 

To me, that adds up to a Beechwood win. If I am wrong, it would not be the first time.

Sounds like the backup came in and hit a few home runs and is fast. I don’t think it will play a factor. They have a dynamic offense that doesn’t rely heavily on one player. This will be a high scoring game similar to the championship game last year. It will come down to turnovers, mistakes, and penalties.

Sure, Beechwood has "been there and done it".  As a program they've won 17 State Championships.  But, Owensboro Catholic was in the finals just last season. How many of Beechwood's starters played major roles on their title team in 2022?  The Aces were there last season.  The environment shouldn't overwhelm them or the stage be too big.  I would say that the Aces starters actually have more experience on that stage than the Tigers.  That's not to say that I think the OCHS will win, but experience on a big stage won't be a deciding factor for either team.

I agree to a certain point. I will say this though having coaches who coached in the big game and winning it is a factor in my opinion. I think most of Beechwood’s coaches have been around for a lot of their state title runs. They know what it takes to win it. I know Jay hasn’t won it as a head coach but he was the DC at Cincy Lasalle when they won back to back state titles. Does OC have any coaches who won it has a coach? Did OC’s head coach play at Hancock County in the late 90’s?

Beechwood is going to win this game OC is good yes but Beechwood is really good as well and they could make things hard for OC for sure.
