After watching the Eagles, I feel a lot less apprehensive. I think it’s gonna be a long drive home for LCA. They won’t run the ball too well on the Cards. They can’t match the speed either. I will take the Cards by 3-4 scores.

I'll go with LCA by 7 but wouldn't be a shocker if Mayfield won because tough place to play.

Mayfield has a tremendous running back every season. Last year it was a bruiser, this year more of slasher with a smaller version of a bruiser as his back up. Talking to the coaches, LCA better do their homework on the Mayfield passing game or they will be trying to play catch up, like last year. If LCA has plans to do that simply by running the pigskin, then it will be a (another) long trip back to the LEX. 

Not only was he (JuJu) a bruiser he was so much faster. If he got a seam or step he was gone, no catching him, lights out...its time for Mayfield/our running game to truly show up against a good defensive team. I have confidence in our slasher/England as he's only a sophomore and should even get faster not sure if he will be as fast as JuJu...Now our passing game is my concern as we have to have more than just a screen game. I counted at least 8, 9 or 10 screen plays and that was against Caldwell. But this game could come down to who can run, control the line of scrimmage and  tempo. Open up the passing game Mayfield what do we have to lose?

Why do you think LCA won't be able to run the ball on Mayfield?

LCA averaged more than 250 yards rushing per game against their non district schedule.

I've got no dog in this fight but I cannot wait to stream this one on Friday night.  If this game was held on a neutral field, I would probably lean LCA but War Memorial is a different animal.  I am looking forward to seeing Mayfield matchup with that highly touted LCA offensive front.  Saxton Howard is a big time player too.  Real tough game to pick but should be a great game to watch!
