At some point in this game I believe LCA will have to go to the Air. Will that be to Mayfield's advantage?

I would say it absolutely plays into Mayfield's hands. Howard runs LCA's offense well, but he's not among the best passers the Cards have seen this year, and LCA's passing game as a whole is not on the level of Tilghman, Graves, and McCracken. 

When you factor in a Mayfield defense that's top ten in the state in interceptions and an athlete taking snaps for LCA that's not a pass first quarterback, that's got to be what the Cards are hoping for.

Yes. One dimensional teams rarely win against tough opponents. LCA will have to be effective enough passing the ball to keep Mayfield honest on defense.

Its time to get off the pot..... that War Memorial voodoo has tripped up some loaded LCA squads the last two years. It's one of the few places in the state where home field still matters.
