If he did indeed get "dragged" by the car, it's weird that no other officers reacted until after Det. Gillis was beating on the car after he had stopped.

There's currently no angle that would show the dragging, if it occurred. 

If it did happen, it would have happened in the time frame of the shorter video above.

I'd like to see the ruined pants. Seems like that could help the officers case. 

"Wrist lacerations" (or something to that affect) were one of the injuries he went to the hospital for.

Sure seems like that could happen from beating on a window and jumping in a car. 

I can't imagine who thought putting this out would help public opinion. Scottie's team had to be pumped once they saw it.

Interesting stuff in the 55 minute video.  The SS incident "appears" to take place around the 22 minute mark.  I say "appears" because at the 23:50 mark a LMPD car with lights flashing blocks the dash cam view of the scene.  Once the car moves, there is a similar SUV type vehicle that SS was in that goes left of the bus & is allowed to enter the gate (I watched up until about the 28 minute mark).

Prior to the 22 minute mark, multiple cars, trucks, buses enter "Gate 1" from the report above.  Also, from the report above PGA personal were out there at the "Gate 1", as that is who stopped the bus from entering that SS goes around.

It wasn't to help public perception, the public here knows LMPD is awful. 

LMPD also knows that we will always demand video of any controversial encounter they are involved with, as we should. They have done that to themselves. 

I have no clue what happened, but I love the Zapruder film-like attention these videos are receiving.

This was my initial thought.  There seemed a distinct lack of urgency by his co-workers...especially given the circumstances the detective alleges.
