Press conference is over. Didn't really learn anything other than the obvious, Detective Gillis was in violation of LMPD's body camera protocol.

Correct.

I think what we did learn by omission was the LMPD powers that be don't appear to be interfering in this case.  Detective Gillis violated policy and he was disciplined. Beyond that, this matter is for the "court" to decide. 

I think something else we probably "learned" was LMPD did not discipline Detective Gillis for his uniform meaning that whatever Detective Gillis was wearing was in accordance with LMPD policy for directing traffic.   In other words, the "I didn't know it was a police officer defense" took a big hit there.

That is a minuscule part of the argument to begin with and not what the defense’s case is built on whatsoever. Just a point that was made. Your interpretation of the “lack of discipline” does nothing to hurt Scheffler’s case.

This is the second video. You can start at about the 20:00 minute mark of the video, that will get you close to the time of the reported incident.

Doesn't really show anything either, the "incident" would have occurred behind the bus in the middle of the middle of the screen, which obviously contradicts the idea that the officer was dragged at any type of speed or distance. 

You can see Scheffler in cuffs just after the 25:00 minute mark.

Nope. One arrow shows the bus and the other shows where the incident would have occurred. You obviously can't see much of anything from this.
