Only 29 points, wow that is a poor showing by Lloyd. 

I think about 6 of those 29 were scored by the JV. Kind of an anticlimactic atmosphere. 

Lloyd had a great successful season, and play very hard. But let's not act like the 9th wasn't way down this year outside of the big 3. You usually have Highlands, Conner, Dixie, St.Henry, Holy Cross all teams that can compete at a regional level and all were down this year. I just don't know if being in that next group of #4-#7 is holding much weight this year. Region was down compared to most years, and why you seen a result like this.

Spot on.  Honestly I think Ryle may have been the number team in the region this year.  Plus I have my own opinion of Lloyd when it comes to the coaching staff and their capabilities.   But as you said Cooper, CovCath and Newport then a huge gap to Ryle, Lloyd, Dixie, Beechwood et al.

See I don’t think the rest of the region was down. It just the region legit had 3 top 10 teams in the state this year, all very capable of making a run to win State in Cooper, Newport, and CovCath. So I don’t know if it is as much as the rest of the region being down, as it is more just the three top teams were just that good this year.

Ryle the number one team in the region ???? They weren't the top team in their district. The top 3 teams in the 9th are just on another level than the others.

The fans got in a fight last year in the tournament and didn’t they get into it this year in the regular season? 23 for Lloyd was running his mouth at the end of this one, so I say good call on bypassing the handshake line.

After last year’s episode it was the best thing and I agree with it fully. 

Lloyd had a very disappointing season IMO. EJ Walker should DOMINATE, and does not.

I do agree with that, a lot of his recruiting is based of projection and what he can become. Has really great length and mobility for his size! But as you said hasn't been able to develop enough skill or flip that switch and dominate.

He does not exert his influence on the game. Way to much let the game come to me. And Lloyd coaching doesn't seem to run things to use his talent.
