I can personally assure you, this is not correct. I am doing fine where I am.

I have no clue what happened, but it sounds like the middle school coach responded to the news like a middle schooler.

Nothing surprises me any more.

Every day it seems like . . What are we going to protest and whine about today?

I seen on Facebook that the principal was the one who fired him without any support from any of the athletic staff nor the AD and apparently the players staged a walkout.

    This is an odd situation.

I dug a little on Twitter and Facebook. There are some strange things out. Past a poorly filmed video everything is pretty much hearsay.

Any word on who the next Coach might be?

Job has officially been posted, hearing there has been 8-9 applicants thus far and hope to have hiring committee in place by mid Jan.

I'm hearing rumblings that they are considering bringing him back. Is there any validity to this?

Sounds like they should have kept Coach Shipley.

You're definitely not the only one to have had that thought cross their mind.

Are we hearing any names for this job? They have kept a tight lid on this coaching search.

    North Oldham DC...? Franklin

Ashton Bailey OC for Western Hills this year and Shelby alumn

Matt Axline former Oline coach under Coach Shipley and Shelby alumn

Josh Smith former Oline coach under Coach Shipley and believe he coached at Frankfort

Also heard that former Western Hills head coach and current Bryan Station DC Don Miller has shown interest, don't know if he has applied.

Supposedly they have had 10-12 applicants, post closes today, so interviews should start to happen soon.

Interesting list of names. Several deserving candidates. It takes guts to get into the arena for sure.
