Congratulations to Mayfield. That was completely earned and deserved. I doubted their physicality for this game and it was evident all night that they weren’t lacking in that department in the slightest. Next week should be a classic.

I think so much stock was put into the game LCA played for the most part against Boyle County, that would automatically equate to a Mayfield home loss. 

Football math doesn't add up pretty often. Big win for the Cards.

Mayfield continues to show why those of us in the region have feared them and will always have an eye what they are doing every Friday night. This is an impressive win against the team I thought was the favorite in 2A. Congrats Cardinals.

Impressive game.

Mayfield play calling at times was some of the best I've ever seen. They can just give a defense fits with the combination of play calling they can throw at them.

LCA's fumbled snap between Boley's legs was the game changer, it was all down hill from there.

First quarter mistakes really hurt LCA.  Mayfield did what Mayfield does after half. Tacking was much better than with Murray. Now on to Beechwood. It’s at home. And man. War Memorial is a special place. What a crowd.
