Yes this is Coach Joes wife. And this is not the first time the Mayfield Chamber of Commerce has had this happen unfortunately. Will have to wait to see what Coach did or did not know and what amount is being talked about. But it does bring things into some perspective.

Yes it’s a known thing at Nelson County this afternoon. Stockdale is leaving for Central Hardin. Good hire by Central. Hopefully the Cardinals can still continue the momentum they have had as of late.

I don’t see consolidation happening anytime soon. With the current superintendent being fired by the school board it seems consolidation isn’t something that’s being considered at the high school level at the moment. That’s shifted to the middle schools for now.

Mayfield not ranked or considered in 2A? Laughable. And the reason according to their comments are because of loss of players. This ain’t college boys. Mayfield will reload. They always do.

First quarter mistakes really hurt LCA. Mayfield did what Mayfield does after half. Tacking was much better than with Murray. Now on to Beechwood. It’s at home. And man. War Memorial is a special place. What a crowd.

Watched the Murray game and I’ll say this. Yes Murray had some trick plays that worked. Hook and laterals a couple of times. Halfback pass. Etc. But if Mayfield doesn’t start wrapping folks up on tackles it will be a long night. Broken tackles are the reason for Murray’s early success. And unlike Murray LCA won’t have to rely on trick plays to get the win done. If Mayfields defense steps up they have a chance.
