Is this a done deal? Would he take his staff with him or would someone step up and take over for him at Nelson Co.?

Based on what he's done in limited time at Nelson County that seems like an excellent choice.

Stockdale is a great football coach and incredible leader for this program. If this is true, this is a homerun hire.

You can confirm it now.    Phillip Stockdale will be the next head coach at Central Hardin.  

Yes it’s a known thing at Nelson County this afternoon. Stockdale is leaving for Central Hardin. Good hire by Central. Hopefully the Cardinals can still continue the momentum they have had as of late.

I was told that CHHS had very few applications due to the suspicion that Jackson was a slam dunk for the job.  He was unable to take it due to a family commitment that is leading him out of state.   That it was never offered to anyone but Stockdale.   Can you tell us differently, and who applied and rejected...because that's not what I heard.
