What is the highest amount you are willing to pay to attend a high school game?

I've paid 10 many times so I guess 10.  Except for State Title games. 

If it is a game I really want to see and the logistics are nice, probably $100. 

I’ve seen $5 mostly. I’ve see  $7. I’ve seen $10 for bowl games. 

I always walk up prepared to pay $10, anything less is a plus for me.

If I wanna see the game I’ll pay whatever the price. Of course knowing it’s gonna be under $20

Of course I understand that NFL players are highly paid and for good reason and I also understand the logistics of pro sports and why they can charge so much for a ticket and deservedly so but to be honest I am a KY high school football connoisseur and would pay up on a good high school matchup I wanna see before I would an NFL game, of course with the understanding that a high priced high school game is still gonna be a fraction of the price of any NFL game.

My Louisville football tickets face value is 50.00, so I would be willing to pay half that for high school game especially if St. X vs. Male, Manual, and Trinity. I coach so get a free ticket so I'm paying back the school with a lot of hours. Lol.

This is my mindset as well. I'd probably pay as high as $15 without really much hesitation. 

10 or less I don’t even give it a second thought at a regular game.  When it starts getting higher than that, I kind of get aggravated but pay it.  I don’t think I have been to one higher than that yet though. Most are between five and 10.  I just wish all the high schools could get together and use the same online ticketing app/website.  One central place to find all the tickets would be much easier than sorting through half a dozen different websites.

I felt this.

I've gotten to where I can't stand to watch any college or professional sports. I love my position on the sidelines of high school football and basketball games. I'd 100-to-1 rather watch a high school game with two teams who are fundamentally sound than the showboating prima donnas of college and professional sports. 

 

I misread the poll. I didn't read it carefully enough. I thought it was asking what we normally pay for a ticket.

I would pay $15-$20 or so if it's a great matchup.

Like I would pay $20 for BG vs South Warren

But BG vs Ohio County should be free, lol. Just kidding. But I feel like $6 is enough for that one. 

But I just look at paying to get into a game as a donation to school anyway. I may buy a season pass even though I know I can't go to all the games, but it helps my school. 

Everything in life is far more expensive than it used to be, just the way it is.  Entertainment options are not immune, and I can't imagine anything is going to be cheaper or "like it used to be" any time soon.  

If I want to go, or if there is someone I care about in the game, I'll pay whatever.  

I'm far more "turned off" by parking options at most schools, traffic in and out, and parent / fan behavior.  Fix those and you can darn near charge me whatever you want.

Hunting High School in Chillicothe still charges 5 bucks for a varsity game.

$10 to $15 bucks is fine.

A frustrating thing today isn't so much the price but the requirement at some places that the ticket be bought exclusively online. I have seen older folks standing at the gate trying to figure it out give up and go home.
