Shamrocks roll to 2-2 and sets up pivotal 6A matchup at Male next Friday.

Trinity leaves me scratching my head week to week, it’s hard to understand how the same team can play so different week to week.

Therein lies the problem. One that needs to be fixed one way or another.

Trinity is a roulette wheel….any number can come up.

Reminiscent of the the 2014 squad.

Nice bounce back for the Rocks.

True but I was not impressed with Carmel.

It sounds like the offense finally opened it up?  Perhaps throwing more vertical down field..  like the old Trinity days..

Or was this a case where Carmel was just that bad?

perhaps you guys can elaborate…

Carmel falls somewhere between Male and South Warren. They are a very good team.

Trinity will be fine, they are very young and starting a freshman at QB.  The staff is doing a great job not rushing his development. He threw 17 of 20 for 273 yards and 3 tds last night. The vertical passing game opened up the run and Trinity was able to do what they wanted offensively because they were attacking all zones.

As for Carmel, they are huge and athletic.  Trinity can beat anyone on their schedule when they play like they did last night.

What’s shocking to me is that T has to roll out a FRESHMAN QB.

To me (an outsider) this tells me that the kids ahead of him grade wise have not progressed under this staff?

T has had D1 STARS play QB for them and a Freshman has not started.

WOW!!! Congrats on the win, that turned out to be as easy as the Dallas win over the Giants.

Past Brohm who are the D1 stars that played QB at Trinity? They had some really good HS QBs but I can’t remember any one of them being D1 stars.

Pfieffer

Brohm Plural

Murray

Hatcher

Quick

Herron

I’m sure there are more….

*also not all these guys stars but the point is they didn’t start as Freshman at Trinity.

Its a HUGE step from MS ball to HS especially against the schedule T plays.
