Final a bad game for the Cats and a costly loss. The game at Arkansas is even bigger now on Saturday.

  • Thiero was lost in this game.  They took the ball away from him a couple of times and he fumbled it around a few more.  I like Thiero but this game he must have cost the Cats about 6 points in his lim

  • Which is why you can't feel very good about this team in March. Can they beat anyone? Maybe. Can anyone beat them? Absolutely. That level of inconsistency typically doesn't get it done in the NCAA Tou

Defense wasn't why they lost last night. Vandy shot 40% and UK out rebounded them by 13 and shot 22 more free throws. If UK makes more than 16% of their 3's they win. If they ONLY miss 7 free throws i

The ending was painful.

Ugh that sucked! Reeves picked a bad night to have his worst shooting game. He was consistently short all night. He even had a great look on that last shot and left it short again.

Hopefully Wallace is ok and can play Saturday. If he is out and if Wheeler is still out. It could get ugly Saturday at Arkansas.

That's just not a good loss. Reeves was off all night. I wouldve started him.over Frederick but Senior Night stuff.

Oh well, regroup and come out and pop Arkansas.

Hopefully Wallace is just day to day. Bad time for Wheeler to have a small procedure.

It didn't look terrible. But ankles are weird. He'll definitely "feel it" tomorrow morning.

You never know from game to game with this year's Wildcat team.   A team with a number of injury prone players that has you scratching your head with both the games they win, and the games that they lose.

Kinda.  The status of Wallace and Wheeler determines pretty much everything from here on out.  Obviously we need both.  But if Wallace isn't back for Saturday or or they drop one in the SEC tourney early, that will drop Kentucky 2-3  spots and they'll be back at a 10-11.

Kentucky was at a 6 seed going in to today. I don’t think they will fall all the way back to a 10 or 11 either way. However, could fall back to an 8 or 9 seed which isn’t ideal.

Not an unrealistic scenario.  With this team, almost anything is possible.

Committee has said that injuries can play a part in seeding.  If Wallace isn't 100% and Wheeler isn't back and UK finishes 0-3 or 1-3 or even 2-2(including SEC tourney) I could see it happening.  If those guys aren't back and 100%

I see now way that Wallace ain’t back. As long as he is back, then I don’t see it effecting their seeding at all of Wheeler is still out. Considering the committee would also see that UK has played really good without Wheeler.

Just simply another game that Ky should have won, Vandy’s big guy goes down early and Ky should have capitalized more with his departure, and the other things that should have taken place didn’t as has been the issue all season long, hard to get enthusiastic about the chances with nothing new about our game plans and in game adjustments, simply isn’t going to happen.

I don't think Wheeler is back this year.  I am not sure that he hasn't quit the team with his no show at Senior night.

Cats couldn't hit a shot or free throw down the stretch to get over the hump.  Rupp crowd was great, especially in the second half.  I thought that the crowd and Oscar were going to will them to the win, but it didn't happen.
