I suppose, but it doesn't take much to see that Cincy has been better than KC the last two months, including beating them head-to-head. KC has found ways to win, but they never put away teams. I'm always "buyer beware" on these teams.

I was reading an article on ESPN that said that the line shifted yesterday for some period to temporarily have the Bengals as a small favorite (due to a lot of Cincinnati money being played).  Eventually, it settled to the Chiefs being a 1.0 point favorite.

Just saw this but it is from yesterday:

Crazy movement: Per BetOnline AG
Cincinnati Bengals a Pick 'Em  at Kansas City.
Over/Under  47
It opened at KC -2.5.
It quickly went to KC -2, then -1.5, and then a huge move to Cincinnati -1.
A few minutes later it went back to KC as the favorite at -1.
It is currently at a pick’em.

Excited to say I will be there!

  • This is a general observation, the "Bengals" are doing a lot more talking than they used to do and I don't like it.  Let the results speak.

  • Cincy has won 3 in a row against KC? With a completely healthy Mahomes?  They win again and get back to the Super Bowl.

No surprise to me with the rapid changes. I look for most to pick Cincinnati. Two things could be coming into play with this, the likelihood that Mahomes won’t be 100% and psychology based on the Bengals winning three straight. Regardless, I really like the Bengals chances of taking four straight.

You've got to be kidding, right?

I have never felt the same "love" for him, even back when he was predicting plays accurately.  But, yesterday he was just horrible, to me.  All over the place.

No, I am serious.

Romo is erratic and bounces around, kind of like chatting with drunks in bars, but he has a lot of knowledge and if you can tune out the noise there are some good things in there.

Here is the early weather forecast from weather.com:

Sun 29 | Day

N 13 mph
Overcast. High 22F. Winds N at 10 to 20 mph.

With Mahomes mobility in question and the Bengals seemingly having the Chiefs number as of late, I think the Bengals win.

The Bengals ability to get pressure out of just their front four against the Bills was the catalyst for that win. The Bills struggled to block the front four so much that when a blitz was called, they almost got a free run at Allen every time. If they duplicate that rush this week, this game could get ugly.

Burrow is on fire right now, I think this could be not only a Bengals win but a comfortable win.

The Bengals are now a 1 point favorite.

The slight wind has me a little uneasy, but if the Bengals can run effectively and hit the short passes they’ll be fine. Dan Hoard had a quote by a former bengal about working with Bill Walsh when he was in Cincy and it was “if we can just take what they give us and be patient we will be fine. 5 yards on a catch is the same as a 5 yard run”.

We thinking maybe the Mahomes injury is being reflected here?

Maybe that and the fact that the Bengals looked so good against the Bills.  I would prefer to be an underdog again.

I've been reading that there's the possibility of Jonah Williams maybe being back for the KC game.  Honestly, I'm not so sure that's necessarily a "great" thing.  The way Carman has been in the 1+ games he's played, I'm impressed.  Looks like the young buck has Blind Sided a couple of DE's on more than one occasion, and hasn't gotten beat like I've seen Williams this year.

If Williams CAN play...make him active, but I wouldn't start him.  Rest him as much as you can.  If Carman looks overwhelmed, or obviously gets hurt, sub him in.

I was thinking the same thing.  Hopefully he is available purely from a depth standpoint.

Agree.  A home underdog (in this case, the Chiefs) is a very dangerous beast.

I agree and I wonder when the last time was the Chiefs were a home underdog.
