Really a simple question I thought.  Maybe not.

I don't know. Maybe the constant dislike of the current Football Coach at Highlands and the seemingly over the top bashing of his Son might be a huge indicator. Call me crazy. It use to be Girls Soccer with their Coach years ago, then the Boys Basketball program when Listerman took over and now the Football team. I'm sure Peegate was on your Radar when the Baseball Program hiccupped. What's next, the Cheer Coach? I hear their formations aren't State Championship form. You have a really sense of pride for the Highlands Athletic programs but whatever it is they never satisfy your liking. Again, call me Loco I guess! Does that answer you simple question? Life is too short. Why not just try to enjoy it once in a while.

My advice to players is do what you want to do. Do not let any coach tell you that you have to choose one sport over another. Trust me - if you are good enough to play, you will play. Above all else,

  • Right but you have to get back to being pretty good before you can jump into the best arena.

  • Just saw on Twitter Benke with another offer, nice job big guy!

I just think Joat knows the expectations of the Ft. Thomas natives. Not worried about those just passing thru. That gets lost on some.

But the program I’m worried about currently is the band. Why are the numbers so low now? And the uniforms don’t match the school colors. Unacceptable. Need more pep songs at the games too.

So you're saying there is some kind of native purity test. How noble.

Trust me, I'm not lost. Some from my alma mater have an oversized sense of entitlement too.

Since you are talking about me, I have no sense of entitlement.  As I have said many times, just did not care for the hire.  Biggest reason is fact that Bob is closer to retirement than coaching another decade.  I stand by what I said also that his son should not be calling the offense because of inexperience and I think at times it showed during the course of the year.

Give them a hamburger, they want a hot dog. 40 points a game last year isn't too shabby.

Maybe not but a 2nd round playoff exit is extra shabby.

I get your point. However, the three consecutive games from 9-23 to 10-7 may have been some of the worst high school football I've seen in NKY in some time. Believe me I want all 6 state championship trophies to come to NKY.

Highlands had to play 2 of those games in the district and beat them 105-0. And scored 60 in the third game. But I'm sure it just wasn't good enough....

That would be amazing!

I get it, you have to play who you have to play. I don't care how many points they put on the scoreboard as long as they win.

We can agree on that.

1A, 2A, 4A, and 5A all have NKY teams that have a chance at winning it all but other than that yea we are not getting all 6.

6A isn't happening. Now even more so with Frederick Douglas in the Mix.

Well yea, that's why I didn't mention 6A.
