January 9, 200719 yr The SEC is the powerhouse conference in the country. They have six teams in the top 25. I wonder if anybody has a breakdown of which conference has the most national championships. Start with bama and twelve!!
January 9, 200719 yr There are simply more phenomenal athletes in the SEC. Speed kills. After Florida's first drive, OSU's defense knew they were in trouble. And after none of OSU's receiver's could get open early, everybody on their sideline, and their QB, gave up.

January 9, 200719 yr How many think LSU still is the best team in the SEC? I think they are. Whether it is a fair evaluation or not, we can only go by how LSU/Florida played against one another head-to-head. In the matchup, Florida took it to LSU.

Yeah, what about all those OSU supporters that were saying that the Buckeyes see speed equal to or better than Florida's every day in practice. Guess the scout team must usually smoke the starters there too.

January 9, 200719 yr It is just killing a lot of posters that the SEC is on top in football without a doubt. And the argument is still out there in basketball. I think the SEC potentially at this point has 6 really good teams in Florida, LSU, Alabama, UT, UK, and Ark.
