The Cats come off their bye week with the toughest test to date with a game in Knoxville at Tennessee. The Cats got back on track after two straight losses with a nice win at home over Miss. State. The Vols are 7-0 with a big win two weeks ago over Alabama. The game will be on ESPN this Saturday at 7:00pm. Go Cats!

Tennessee.  It may be a basketball score, but I just can't see UK getting enough defensive stops.   They gave up over 50 last year when TN only had the ball for 15 minutes.  And Tennessee is better this year, I don't think the Cats are.  They may not be worse, but they aren't better.

I think this is the end of the Tennessee national championship talk.  They lose to the Cats and the Dawgs and go to a nice comfy bowl game.

I think UT is a little overrated but like The Raven said if anything UK is not as good this year as they were last year. 

Of course I want UK to win but I would be surprised if they do.

I agree I think UT is probably a bit overrated, but I don't see UK going to Knoxville and beating them.

Volunteers are certainly a little overrated right now.  They will have trouble with Georgia and, IF they do make the SEC championship, I don't think there's any way they beat Alabama a second time.  But they are still better than Kentucky at this point.

I hope UK can find a way to win but it’s going to be a tough row to hoe in Knoxville before 100,000 orange clad fans. I saw a game there in the years Cobb was at UK and the orange lighting in their huge stadium will blind you. It’s a tough place to play. 
Final score will not be humiliating for the Cats but they will lose. Probably something in the neighborhood of 31-20. 

I obviously want the Cats to win, they had their chances last year but the pick 6 was the ultimate undoing. This years defense has the capability to limit Tennessee's possessions, but can they keep them from scoring on each one? Another huge question is will the O-line finally show up for a full 4 quarters? They're going to have to if UK has any real shot. We put up 42 last year and Will Levis has shown he's more patient with the ball in his hands than last year and can see the field better if he can get time. We also have one of the best RBs in the conference and a much better WR corp than last year. If need be UK needs to bring in a TE to help pass block or use two and go run heavy with short passes to said TEs and be patient on offense.

I'm already a nervous mess and a 7pm kickoff won't help on saturday. I believe Vols when by 21.

I am not sure UK can come out conservative and expect to be in the game.  They have to plan on trying to score every possession, not setting stuff up for later.
