The Colonels handle their business against the Tigers in Fort Mitchell.

Dixie is now 11-1-1 on the season, they get Frederick Douglass in Lexington on Saturday and then get the Blue Colonels in Park Hills on Tuesday.  Coach Crone will have to make sure his Colonels don't get caught looking ahead when they face Freddy D on Saturday, because I know that 9th Region Championship game rematch with CovCath has been circled on their calendars for a while.  This Dixie team, with some high level talent, decent depth, and a solid GK, are going to be a tough out in October.

Beechwood, winless in their last 5, are now 5-8-1, and now get South Dearborn over in Aurora (IN) on Saturday.  They could stack up a bunch of wins between now and the end of the regular season (minus a tilt with NewCath), so they should have a lot of confidence brewing when they get their District semi matchup with the Indians of Holy Cross for a 9th Region ticket.
