Only an unlikely “bakery-fest” (3+ turnovers) by Beechwood could keep this close. The Tigers D is strong. Beechwood by 3-4 TD’s.

Pretty sure he is fine he finished the game with 9 tackles.

This will be a battle that will be won or lost in the trenches. Beechwood needs to get their running game going early and if their line can control SK upfront which won’t be easy I see Beechwood winning easier than I had originally expected. SK not having Crone is an issue because I seen their offense putting up limited points to begin with so without him they will struggle to put up enough points to win this one. For SK to win they will have to hold Beechwood under 2 TD’s and I just don’t see that happening.

Agree with this take for the most part. I’m sure they are up for it, but the size upfront will be a big test for BW. BW neutralized this against big schools a lot last year with my guy Slush taking the beating. The Slusher/Vrombrock battle upfront last year was fun to watch. Waddell did his part in the weight room to step in and get massive over the off season, but overall size is about the same. BWs coaching historically negates this with Coach B’s ability to teach techniques and discipline. Hopefully that works against against bigger opponents. 
 

The Crone factor is huge, he is ready to explode if ya ask me. We all know this years Mr Football candidate Berger will do his part for BW, and the skill players are loaded. Big test for Cash for sure, but he has done magnificent stepping into Hergott’s shadow as Freshman. Quite frankly, IMO, his style of play fits perfect to pickup where Hergott left off if ya ask me. His field vision is excellent and escapability compliments the offense so naturally. Escape the pressure and get the ball to the playmakers. It’s that simple. A top tier Point Guard is a natural fit. Ya’ll need to quit questioning his ability!?

Not an "older Beechwood fan", but feel somewhat qualified to answer this with my opinion given I watched a lot of Brandon, and Mitchell has been around my family for about 8 years for a variety of sporting events.  I think Brandon was faster, but I think Mitchell is probably stronger at the same age than his dad was.

I think this game will be much like last year, a completely lopsided and hyped game with disappointing fans leaving the stadium. SK didn't have success until substitutions were made on the BW side, all with Crone at the helm. No different this year, just putting fantasy vs reality into perspective here. Of course my opinion only,  come attack me if I am wrong. ? I would really hate to think the outcome if Clay was BW QB. He is far superior than Hergott with the arm, he understands Progressions!!!! So disappointing not to see him out there under center.  Kid is a stud!!!!!!!!!!
