He was qb on a South Kenton team that won back to back superbowls. Last year was his first time playing on a team with his own grade and they won the big school championship at Twenhofel. I think he will do just fine at qb. Pioneers 35 Beechwood 34.

I’m sure Trinity could as well but I’m glad Beechwood doesn’t play those teams. I’m not putting SK down I’m just saying Beechwood’s defense is very very good.

See my post in the Highlands Raceland thread. Raceland has around 10 hold backs in their junior class. They all did it in the 8th grade before the state COVID rule. It has been happening for a long time across the state. The only difference is the COVID rule allowed kids already in high school do it. If the player isn't 19 before his senior year, it is a non issue.

I never knew that fact. Now I’m even more upset at my parents. I could’ve played two more years and made special teams. 

I’m going with Beechwood in this one. I’ve watched their first two games and Berger is awesome. Better than his father? And the defense is legit. I was at the Highlands, SK game and the offense was clearly run through Crone. I know nothing of the young man filling that spot at QB, but good luck. It shouldn’t happen but In Kentucky classes don’t matter when comes to games like this. I have Beechwood 35-7.

I have only been to one Beechwood game in the past 4 to 5 seasons because of work. Since a lot of older Beechwood fans have seen both Brandon and Mitchell play who do you think  is or was the faster player between the 2 of them or were they even?  I was lucky enough to play one season with Brandon in 1992 but I was in the stands in 89,90 and 91. I only saw Brandon get caught from behind once and that was in the 1992 Class A title game against Bardstown but that was after a 60 plus yard run.

He’s gonna be a great player, but I watched Ryle’s Freshman team play him this year. 2nd best QB on that field and it wasn’t even close. 

I hope he does well, but if Freshman can bait him for a pick and sack him multiple times, Beechwood will have a field day with him.

Some of both and has taken Varsity snaps.

If SK can stop Berger and get pressure on Harney they could win.

The Neers will have to stop Robinson too.  The second any team is able to shut down Berger, Beechwood will get the ball to Robinson in space.
