What progression do you need to go through after Berger?  Lol. It can’t be disappointing to see the Tigers not lose a game in over 2 yrs. If you’re disappointed watching a true Freshman go 6-0, with only 1 turnover, lead a team that just lost a Qb that lead to state titles in 3/4 years, then I cannot help you here. Good luck.

21 to 7 he scored on a run. Remember like it was yesterday. First time  the first team defense was scored on.

I am looking for Cash Harney to be let loose this week. He has three varsity games under his belt now and he has very good stats in the controlled passing game Beechwood used. Everyone needs to remember that Cash did not take reps with varsity until the second half of the second scrimmage. He should know the offense pretty well now and have enough reps under his belt to start showing more of his stuff. I think Beechwood is going to need Cash to make more plays in the passing game this week. It is going to be fun to watch.

Ok, they are huge and border college football size. Then why the rhetoric out there about SK’s defense being suspect?

On D you have to be able to move. I haven't watched them but if getting beat by O-line probably not shedding blocks and not able to get to ball carrier. Some guys are big but not fast. I remember Male a few years back who had great defense and heaviest d lineman was 230.

I have seen film on DT/DE Aba Selm.  He is the real deal at 6'4, 290 and can move.  Can't comment on their defense in entirety, but he is not suspect at all.

Not sure how a defense of that size is getting 40 hung on them multiple times. I’m guessing speed isn’t an ally.

You’re right MC. Just refreshed my memory, I remember being in the stands and going “well there goes our streak.” Nobody better to lose it to than Crone. He’s been the real deal for a very long time. 

Let’s not forget SK is one of only 2 teams the whole season to score 20+ points on them as well. The other being LCA.

True. Simon Kenton was one of the few teams last year that was able to score on Beechwood's second team defense.
