They actually did have one when they matched up this season at KOB in December. It went fine so hopefully things are calming down.

I am very familiar with Conley. He was a very good player. I agree Spencer should’ve done more when they had him. But maybe Burns has developed as a coach from the years Conley was there until now coaches can get better just like players can.

Also that state final 4 team had 2025 G Santonio Waide who is now at the Patrick School and said to be a top player on the team. And that team had 2023 John McCrear 6’8 F who was committed to Murray State not sure if he’s still there or not. So yes that team was absolutely loaded with talent.

From the looks of it he will be okay. Late in the game he looked to be walking fine on it without any sort of significant limp. If Lloyd is smart they hold Sebastian out until districts to get him healthy because by the way they’ve been playing lately they have a chance to make a run this year.

I watched on live stream, Lloyd hit a ton of 3s. Walker and Blaackar were both well in the 20s if I had to guess. Collins hit 3 3s Bresser hit 3 3s Humphrey hit 2 3s Walker hit 2 3s and Blaackar hit 1. So 11 3s for Lloyd. Sebastian went down early with an injury can’t tell the severity of it, hopefully they get him back ready to go for the postseason.

Yes it is Golsby. I agree with everything that you said. Collins was a starter for the last 2 years and is a very good player. Golsby is a decent role guy but definitely not the caliber of player Collins is.

He will definitely be dangerous off the bench if he can come in and knock down a couple 3s for Lloyd in tight postseason games it would be huge for them. And prior to him coming back Lloyd only had 1 guard that came off the bench for him and now they have a 2nd with him. The first two games he’s played around 12-16 minutes in each.

From what I have seen he is coming off the bench but still playing a lot of minutes. Lloyd has another kid in the starting lineup that shoots it well #10 and number 5 Humphrey while not taking a ton of 3s knocks them down at a good rate. With Collins back Lloyd will have a very solid group of shooters to go along with their slashers and Walker in the inside.

They will be a contender next season and for years to come. Lots of talent from the juniors and younger grades.

I agree that CCH is currently the favorite. Saying they are the heavy favorite is a stretch in my opinion after last night. They have played an elite schedule and have some great wins to show for it. But to say Lloyd isn’t on par with them after last night is odd to me. They have played a strong schedule as well. CCH, Lloyd and Cooper are all on par with each other in my opinion. Newport not far behind at all.

This right here is exactly right. Collins is a good ball handler and would definitely help with the turnover issue Lloyd had last night. And Blaackar had 4 or 5 turnovers which never happens for him from what he seen. I would say if these teams play 10 times each team wins 5/10. It’s not like Cov Cath is an easy place to play at.

Lloyd had a really good showing. I’m an NKY guy so I’m a bit biased but I think they would have beat most teams in it.

Bradshaw is around 6’5.

From what I’ve heard he’s very unhappy with how the Rondon situation was handled by administration.

These are good points. But with that being said after watching the Newport game, if they shoot the ball like they did last night I don’t see any way the game isn’t a single digit margin. Newport did not shoot the ball well at all.
