The Raiders never gave up but could never get in front. Lloyd got up big a few times but Ryle kept thundering back. Raiders held them to 6 in the second quarter. Really fun evening of basketball at NKU.

Lorms was really really close to making that a Raiders W. If he can get a few close misses to go the other way the Juggs are watching in the stands tuesday.

Survive and advance. Lloyd has to play to win instead of playing to not lose. Dangerously close at the end.

I don't like that Lloyd should have won by atleast 15 and couldn't put Ryle away. EJ hit his head hard, was on the floor for a minute and I think he was off for a while after that. I would have liked to see him more aggressive in the last four minutes and Lloyd probably would have been able to stretch it to 10+. Lloyd vs Newport is going to be all over the place. What I predict from both is some sloppy play from playing so hard, alot of fouls, alot of turn overs, some good basketball mixed in and a ton of emotions. Don't see either team stretching a lead out past 10. Going to be a good one. Only think Lloyd survives if they hold Rondon under 20, he scored his 20th point tonight on the game winner.

Lloyd got a combined 0 points from Bresser, Sebastian, and Collins. That cannot happen Tuesday or they will be sent home by the Wildcats for the third straight season at region.

This is well said. Bresser usually gives them 6+, Collins also gives them 6+, and Sebastian typically gives them 8+ that’s a big difference!

I have zero concerns those guys will pull it together and be more effective for the Newport game. Pete is also just coming back from an injury but he’s a guy that could give you 20 and it not be a surprise.

Yes spot on! This was his first game back in 3 weeks so he’s still getting into the swing of things and still had a great defensive and rebounding game. He will come to play Tuesday I am confident along with the other two!
